Policy report “Assistive Technology in China: policy framework, service delivery, and industry development”. This article aims to layout the Chinese policy framework aiming at advancing the provision of AT and illustrate how AT can be delivered in the “local-county-prefecture-province” network in China. This article also highlights the efforts China has made in developing the industry of AT in the latest years. Despite notable achievements, this article argues that the provision of AT still faces a number of challenges and limitations.
